Our "Build a Story" Program is oriented for children 5 to 8 years old. Motivating read-alouds provide framework for this introduction to manual woodworking tools. As example, for one of the classes we'll be reading Faster, Faster Little Red Train, and then we'll be building our own little train engines using hand saw, hand drill, hammer, sanding block. Parents of kids aged 5 should stay. From 6 to 8, it is up to the parents.
